Resources for Transformational/Transformative Learning

The League for Innovation in the Community College and The University of Central Oklahoma serve as two wonderful resources for those interested in learning more about the concept of transformational learning.

Transformational Learning Connections is a website hosted by the League for Innovation in the Community College.  It serves as a gateway for exploring a host of topics in the form of best practices from technical and community colleges, discussion forums, and links to other related online sites.  I was drawn to a particular article on the site describing MEtaMorph, which is a career exploration curriculum being used at an Ohio community college. The goal of the program is to help 9th graders discover essential career information, develop higher-level thinking skills, and begin to make real life connections.

UCO Transformative Learning Guide can be found on the University of Central Oklahoma's Center for Excellence in Transformative Teaching and Learning website.  The Guide provides an abundant number of articles related to transformative learning.  I enjoyed looking at this site and found it provided a variety of information related to our readings in this course, and others we have taken in the MACCA program.
